Summer 2001 Newsletter
WE
HAVE A NEW WEBSITE AND A NEW HOME
WEBSITE:
You can find us on the web at www.elderlywish.org. This wil give you all the
information you need to find out about special events, current wishes that
have been granted, and how you can help as a "Friend of the Elderly."
NEW HOME
As of August 1st we have occupied a small office space at :
the River Town Resource Building
301 W. 10th Street, ste. 9
in Antioch.
Office hours have not been determined as yet since we are a volunteer organization.
Our phone number will remain the same (925-978-1883).
Thanks to Nancy Kaiser at Delta 2000 for making this a eality and for keeping
the rental charge at a minimum.
COMMUNITY DONORS
We received a $100 donation from Dow Chemical, which was given to United Way,
in our name. Another donation, of $500, was presented to us by Hospice Preferred
Choice in Concord. With these generous donations our foundation will continue
to "make final wishes come true", for our seniors. That's what it is all about!
Thank you!
PUBLIC
RELATIONS
If you know of a business, church or service club that would like to know about An
Elderly Wish Foundation, please call the office. This is a great way to
inform the Contra Costa Community about our mission, and how they can become
involved. We need to spread the word about this worthwhile organization.
SORRY THE "Friends of the Elderly" BBQ has been postponed
due to a lack of response.
