WISHES (continued)
Wish 11: Bill Mooney, 82
Bill's special wish was to have his teeth fixed so that he could have a meal
with his family. Dr. Vince Malfitano offered to give him partials. Unfortunately,
he passed away before the final fitting.
Wish 12: Dora Hutson, 75
Dora wished for some memorabilia from Tom Selleck. Unfortunately, she passed
away before the wish was completed.
Wish
13: Lois Robinson, 86
When Lois Robinson lived in Oakland she enjoyed ferry rides across San Francisco
Bay. For her special wish, Lois and her grandchildren enjoyed a limousine ride
(compliments of Mark Leonard & Associates) from her home to Pier 33 in
San Francisco and from there they cruised and dined around the Bay as honored
guests aboard the HornBlower Yacht (compliments of Hornblower Cruises and Events).
Wish 14: Rudolph Wessel, 74
Rudy, a train enthusiast wished to go to San Diego to see his daughter one
more time. Thanks to Amtrak and the Bahia Hotel for their first class trip
and accommodations.
Wish: 15: Mohammed Gardizi, 79
This gentleman's wish was for free phone calls to his cousin in Pakistan, because
he did not speak English. These phone calls with his cousin meant so much
to him. AEWF and AT&T gave him $220 worth of calling minutes for him
to use.
